Well, at least our equivalent of it. It has been so windy here lately that we are loosing our beaches to the streets!
These sand drifts are so reminiscent to me of the snow drifts we used to endure in Minnesota. I think I like this kind better though!

Sometimes I forget you came from Minnesota (a lawyer?). Yes those dunes are better 'snow' drifts.
That looks a lot like what's outside my window right now. Here in SE MN. Except about 80 degrees colder. And without the warm water. and...and... *sigh*
Almost looks like photos after the last hurricane! =:-o

Sheesh, what crazy weather ..... when I was there a few weeks ago, all forecasts were (fortunately) wrong ... called for nasty; got warm and balmy .... then, strange winds that blew nonstop .... did you throw some kinda curse on Isla, Wayne..????
O Robert
Same things happened a few years ago & they actually used a large red excavator & a dozer to move the sand around on the beach-after it had been brought there by wheelbarrow of course.
Yep .. I like your drifts better than mine!
One little broom, bucket and shovel. Poor guy who has to clean that up using those tools.
Much better then the snow banks I see out my window in Minnesota right now!
I'm a newbie to your blog--saw your posting about Dean Billingsley's CD It's Only Music. I went to iTunes, entered his name in the search box, sampled some selections and downloaded it--relaxing !
