If you ever find yourself downtown on Ave Matamoros and you are feeling a bit hungry, there is only one place to go for a quick little snack. Aqui Estoy is a cute little pizza by the slice place, located next to Aluxes Coffee Shop. In our family we just call it Paco's Pizza, after the owner of the place.
Friendly, jovial Paco will greet you in his native tongue of French, or English or even Spanish if you prefer. He sometimes seems to speak as many languages as he has toppings for his pizzas!
Choose a fresh slice, square or round, from the multitude of ingredients he has on offer. I usually get the pepperoni and chorizo. But any combination you want is available.
Naturally, whole pizzas are available for you to take back to your room or balcony also. Don't worry that it is all in Spanish. The friendly, helpful staff there are always available to translate for you .
Speaking of staff, they truly do believe that Pizza is Love. So should you!

And they are right next door to you office. They do have great pizza!
I like their pizza! Occasionally, we'll pick up a couple of slices for lunch or dinner.
Wow - their pizza looks really great! We haven't stopped in their yet, but definitely will have to check it out in June. Looks like a great option to have some in the fridge available for a quick meal or snack!
When I crave a really good piece of pizza, I head for Paco Pizza (that's what we call it in our house). There really isn't any other pizza on the island that comes close to the quality of flavor.
And one more of your recommendations goes on the list for our upcoming visit!
