I was reading one of my favorite blogs the other day, http://www.billiemercer.blogspot.com/, and she was talking about a new blog she was reading. She talked about the "tossed and tumbled" photos on that site. I couldn't help wondering what she meant. So I visited the site myself. This one: http://sweettooth.typepad.com/mst/2008/02/index.html It's written by a woman named Misty. She is a food editor and world traveler. She has just recently been to la Isla, organizing a retreat. We have tried to meet but are having trouble co-ordinating our schedules.
At any rate, I was fascinated by her photos. They were indeed tossed and tumbled. It got me to thinking. Could I do the same thing? Except my version and through my eyes? I just got this new camera and decided to shake my world a bit and give it a try. Here are the preliminary results. One member of my household say that they make him slightly nauseous.
I like them. What do you think?

I like the 'tipped' photos - but I wouldn't make a style of that - now and again a different perspective is fine. Since you asked.

An artsy friend once told me I had "a sculptor's eye for photography." It was not meant as a compliment. But you, sir, have a painter's eye. Great composition. Interesting perspective.
I like the photos. They have energy!
Ok, I read the first couple of comments and thought, hey, maybe I am on to something here! Leave it to Juan to bring me back to Earth! I agree. The tipped photos make for an interesting perspective once in awhile, but I don't think I would like to only look at that kind. Guess I'll just mix it up from now on!

Love the pics Wayne, I'm suffering camera envy.
My favorite is the pink coffee service. These are great photos.

I tried my hand at this technique, as well. But most of my angled shots gave me vertigo. I ended up publishing pictures of sticks, instead.
I like the photos is a nice way de ponerle sason a lo cotidiano, spice it up a bit!
