Since the rainy season now appears to be over, I thought you might like to see what happens to the streets downtown after just five minutes of torrential rain.




We don't have curb and gutter. The rain has to drain off and run into the ocean. Sometimes it can be knee deep! And it is not fun to walk in, as these tourists thought. It is full of garbage and the stuff that finds it's way onto the streets. Like animal excrement. And spit and vomit. And cigarette butts. I avoid it all costs.
