Sometimes life can be boring here. Especially in the evenings when there is nothing on TV. Or at least nothing in English worth watching. We play cards and surf the Net, but that all gets boring after a while too. To add some interest into our lives, L and I decided to make our own board games.
B bought a little table from the guy who walks around the neighborhoods selling homemade furniture. L then designed and painted a Backgammon field onto it. I think he did a pretty good job and we can now sit on the front porch and play Backgammon while we watch life go by.
I bought some press board in Cancun and went on the internet and searched out images of Parcheesi boards. I think it turned out fairly well and now we have yet another game to occupy our nights.
Necessity is indeed the mother of invention!
