A Couple Of Nice Ones

While we're looking at some of the newer statues around the island, I thought I would show you this one. I really like it and find it very classy.

It is located on the first beach that tourists come to as they walk north on the island from the ferry. It seems to be marking the entrance to the area known as Playa Posada. It is also where most of the fishermen land with their catches.

The fish on the right is labeled a blue marlin.

The one on the left is a barracuda.

Again, I think they are done well and add a bit of class and interest to the street and beach.

Just noticed those on our trip! They've done a good job with the statues in El Centro!
