Staying On The Ground

I am, or was, definately a thrill ride kind of guy. No ride that I wouldn't try at least once. So I am not sure what happened at the Fair.

There were lots of rides to choose from. Up in the air and twist your guts out kind of things. Just my cup of tea. There was even a Tilt-a-Whirl, my favorite way to almost throw up in Mexico. But my butt didn't get to meet any of them.

Maybe because nobody in the party wanted to ride with me. Maybe because I am just that much older and wiser now. No, that can't be it! At any rate, the rides impressed me so much that I only have two pictures to share with you. Maybe next time.

Tomorrow it is back to the island, or at least things closer to home.

I haven't been on a ride wilder than the ferris wheel in years! Used to do them all!

I used to love the rides when I was in school but after the kids, they made me sick, cause now I have motion sickness. I loved the roller coasters, they were my favorite!

The more dangerous the better. Next trip, we are taking our lives in our hands and spending them as small change.

And we will see if I am brave enough to follow up on my blog with a spin off of your shot glasses. I have my doubts.

Thank you for sharing this and all of the vivid pictures and details of all of your travels. I cannot tell you how many places we have visited in Mexico due to your blog - and have checked out many of the resturants you have mentioned as well...because of you we have definately expanded our Mexican horizons while maintaining our most enjoyable trips to Isla Mujeres. Thank you again Wayne!
