Painting A New Picture

I am not a fan of the current town square. I don't even make an attempt at hiding my disgust for its' ugly, non-user friendly configuration.

That said, recently somebody or some organization has been busy trying to spruce it up a bit. I have never been around to see who is actually doing the painting. It may be school children. It may be a local artist. It may be volunteers. I just have no idea.

But I do know that I like the attempt to put on a prettier face to the square. Various walls and pillars have now been painted. See if you don't agree that, even that slightly amateur in appearance, the paintings to have an appeal.

Very pretty! Whoever is doing it, it looks nice--can't wait to see it in person....snow should be stopping in a few hours & then we head to the hotel at the airport--will be there Sat. afternoon!

Amateur, yes. But anything with a calla lily gets my vote.

I like these! A clever way to warm up that cold-looking space.

I think it's awesome. If I were doing it, it would have been all stick men. ha

ooooh ahhhh. I like it. It's like an exhibition hall instead of a bunch of cement pillars. I am all for stuff like that!

I had to come back for another look. We've had sooooo much snow. My eyes, and spirit, really need to see this splash of colour.

I think it's cute! Bright colors always help, and amateurish or not, someone definitely put effort into this project. I like it!
