Ok, I'll be the first to admit it. I have been doing a lot of grousing lately about my life. Perhaps way too much "Woe is me" type stuff. Which is part of the reason it gives me such tremendous joy to bring you today's post.
My good friend, Kelly, is here visiting and checking up on her house. She lives within walking distance of me. I love it when she is here. Silly as it may sound, I can almost feel her presence down the street, always sending me good vibes.
And, being the kind of person that she is, I would expect nothing less than good things from her.
Kelly showed up at my door yesterday for a quick visit before heading off to the beach. She was carrying a small box in her hand. Because I admired something on her jewelry web site, she brought it to me! I was almost speechless at this kind of thougtfulness.
Here's what I found when I opened the box:
This delightful pair of amethyst and silver earrings. I, of course, am going to regift them, with Kelly's permission.
Just look at the detail.
I've written about Kelly and her website before. Here to be exact. Should you want to go take a look. But if you don't feel like taking a look today, or want to wait for whatever reason, you don't have to search for this post. No sirree.
Go over to my sidebar, under Miscellaneous Goodies. There you will find a direct link to Kelly's jewelry. Now go buy something nice for your wife, mother, girlfriend, mistress or the girl who serves you Starbucks every day. Go on, make somebody's day as special as Kelly did mine!

I am speechless! (and THAT doesn't happen very often.) I absolutely adore you amigo. I am ecstatic my little gift made you so happy! And I am beyond honored to be featured on your blog again.
...have I told you lately how much I adore you? :)
re-gift them - man I would be wearing (one) of them - very nice. Glad your spirits have been lifted.
What beautiful earrings. I love amethyst. It is such a wonderful stone with such great energy. Your friend is very talented.
And it is not strange at all that you can feel her presence down the street. Wonderful people give off a very powerful energy that can be clearly felt by those that pay attention.
Congrats on having such a kind and generous friend.
Aw, nice post. Beautiful earrings too!!
What a nice post. Kelly does have great stuff.
I gifted myself with a necklace and earrings from Kelley last winter. I get lots of compliments on them. I'll have to look at her amethyst stuff as it is my birthstone and it also represents/protects sobriety.
well, if you haven't found anyone to give them to, i'd be happy to take them off your hands ;-) they are beautiful and i will definitely check out her site. i just got back from vacation on friday that is why i am just now commenting on this post.
