A Horse Of A Differnt Color

Long time visitors to the island will recognize the name M&J's Restaurant. For years they were located at the Rocamar Hotel. They offered outside dining with a tremendously beautiful view of the Carribbean while you dined. They are probably most famous for their breakfast skillet.

When the Rocamar Hotel was taken over by the Lima conglomerate, they were displaced. They tried reopening in a different location but did not have much success. I am happy to report that they have once again moved and it looks like this one will stick.

They have created themselves a unique little corner restaurant. Just to be able to view the old time pictures of Isla as she used to be is well worth the visit.

But don't take my word for it. Go here to Sue's blog. She recently did a review that says it all.

I think the only thing she missed was getting a picture of this wonderful Talavera type horse they have mounted above their place.

P.S. If somebody syphoned all the gas out of my Tracker during the night on Wednesday, does that raise the count now to 16? And before you can say it, I now have a locking gas cap in place.

Sixteen it is!

I hope it stops there.

I never saw that horse! So cute!

We've had gas siphoned too, but not lately (that we know of). You really need a dog, even if you just borrow one for a couple of weeks.

You need to remove the black cloud that is hanging overhead!!

Good luck.

I hope this new location works out for Marco. It looks much nicer than the spot they were before.
Love the horse!

My guess, you know who is stealing from you, you need to catch them in the act. Put out some bait and see who it is, buy a cheap spy package and in a week you will know who thinks you are a ATM. Much cheaper than moving and a little police action might put the other scamps in your local on notice.

GET A DOG! "Muerde? Si, cuando yo dice," is the correct answer. Put it in front of a mirror and use treats to reward it for good barks. You know this. Explicame why you haven't done it.

Very colorful horse! Love it. Wayne, that is just not right! Locking gas cap :( With the way that the economy is up here we watch where we park and and make sure that things are hidden and locked up!

Amigo can you send that gas 'siphoner' my way - I was NOT paying attention and a gas attendant (we have them in Mexico) put unleaded in one of my diesel truck tanks - how to get 14 gallons of gas out of my tank - drive to Wayne's casa ;-)

WOW, Not again !! We have a key locked gas cap, at 1st it was a PIA when going to fill up, but now just hand the key to attendant and it has become 2nd nature.

2nd wow, Lima conglomerate hits again? Is he headed to own the whole island? I think he owns half of Holbox already. Interesting.

I forgot who mention that you can get a camera for only 80 bucks !! So worth it. It would be so nice to post the intruders picture all about the island.

Good Luck !
