Health Update

I got some great news Monday at the doctor's.

I finally had my doppler ultrasound at the cardiologist's. He gave me a clean bill of health and said that he found no signs that the arterial blockage was still there. I am so relieved.

Evidently the meds I have been on dissolved the calcium (or whatever it was) buildup and it just went away. Of course, there are some nasty side effects going on, but he changed up my meds again to try to alleviate some of them. I hope to get rid of them for good though!

If the new meds do their job, I expect to be up and running as my old self again soon. Can't wait for that to happen!

Hey, that's GREAT news, Wayne .... your concern was evident, and expected last week, but, if you recall, we tried to leave you with some deserved optimism.

Yer a horse; you'll be around buggin' the locals for years....:)

Everyone has said what needs to be said -- and I agree. But the best sentence in your post was your desire to get off of the blasted medications. I had hoped to get rid of all my medications down here -- and I have ended up on more. But they are keeping both of us going. And that is what is important. Salud!

GREAT NEWS!! ...but what medicines got rid of your blockage. Didn't know there were some. Everybody I know just gets stints...which I consider a poor solution.
