Lonely Street

We went downtown for breakfast last week. Mostly because we had to get out of the house for O to clean. Since there was no electricity on Hidalgo, due to street renovations, we headed over to Pinquino's on Ruina Medina. (don't bother. Food was horrible.)

The below picture was taken about 10 AM. Not much happening around here.

They are still screwing around with the power on Hidalgo? I would say unbelievable but it’s not really.
Nice photo. Very quiet.

I can't believe Medina is that empty at 10 a.m.! Yikes! My favorite trips to Isla have been when it was quiet, so I'll probably really love our trip in three weeks!

Was that a single shot, or several "stitched" together? I think the latter, because of the bend in the street. In fact, I think you may have stitched 3 frames together.

I have to agree with the food comment.Sometimes the wait staff are very inattentive or unfriendly. Pinquino's is great for one thing, and that is sitting and watching the street scenery. I have taken some great photos from this rest stop.

What did you have to eat there? I have loved it both times I have eaten there. Had a huge omlette once and their breakfast special the other time. My hubby and son say they have some of the best taco asada on the island. They put a ton of meat in them. I agree with Doug on the waitstaff I got up and served my own coffee more that once.
