Through The Glass

The following photos were taken in the aquarium located at the Turtle Farm. Stop by and check it out sometime. Your ticket price goes to support the turtles and these guys.

UPDATED TO ADD: Yesterdays paper announced that the turtle farm will be closing soon due to lack of funding. What a shame. Especially since the owner of the property, from whom the turtle farm is leasing, has announced that if they leave, he will sell the property. Altogether now, can we say Condos!

Those are great photos! When we were there I didn't get quite as close --your pictures are much better than mine! Did you use the macro setting & no flash?

Wonderful photos!!! And yes, condos, condos, condos. But good luck with the pre-sales and/or financing.

Ugh. What about the Turtles? Sad.

Love the photos. So sorry about the lack of funding. I just heard today that one of the Sea Horses just had babies. We are planning another trip in the next few days.

Noo, say it ain't so! That's so sad that they are shutting down, I wish they had put the word out that they were lacking funds, I'm sure a lot of people (tourists too) would have stepped up with a few bucks.

Great pics!

(oooh, my word verification today is "shell", how appropriate!)

Starfish! I saw starfish!

That starfish photo is amazing. I was there on Thursday but hate to admit I didn't even look into the aquariums along the walls. My first trip to Isla was marred by two very sore feet which really put a damper on my enjoyment of my surroundings some days.

If anyone saw a woman limping 10 paces behind her husband last week, that was probably me, LOL.
