I was sitting on the back patio a few days ago, quietly knitting at the table, under the umbrella. During one of my little breaks, I took a look around. I mean, I really looked at the plants.
Usually I don't pay much attention to them, other than to wish there were more flowering things. The patio garden is B's ongoing project and I think he does a good job with it.
See what you think.

What a beautiful patio area. Do you think I can hire B to maintain my plants on Isla...when we finally make the move?!
It was great meeting you on Isla. Sorry I didn't keep in touch very well. Time seems to get away from me and before I know it, it's time to go. Then time to come back, then time to go again.LOL
Will finally be getting a blog entry done today after I read others.
See you in December, for sure!!
What a great terrace. B did a nice job. Sometimes it's hard to remember to notice all the hard work someone else is doing with those plants - in our household it's Miguel. He will ask me how many red flowers are blooming, just to see if I've noticed. Thanks for sharing!
How wonderful to be surrounded by all that beauty and to also have someone else taking care of it. It is just lovely.
Really nice hombre - a lovely jardin!
btw. word has it there is a package for Vicente in Xico. Of course he must pick it up himself (they don't deliver). It is 4 miles to town - but he has a crazy work schedule - hopefully w will see that box today or tomorrow.
How big is the box - can we get it with two on a scooter ;-) ?
What a relaxing spot! beautiful flowers and plants!
An oasis well-photographed.
What a lovely, peaceful spot! Well done, B.!
A beautiful garden! We were driving past the harbor here on the colder island at 6:30 this morning - a sunny but chilly November day. I said "this is the most beautiful part of the day"; Hubby (ever the pessimist) said "it would be better with palm trees".
beautiful plants! b is doing a great job! it reminds me of some friend's patio in chacala. how i wish i could go back this winter. the weather here is rain, rain, and more rain. oh well, that's western wa.

Oh, how lovely! Excellent job B! I love the new palm and the pink and green caladium. It's beautiful!
What a beautiful and peaceful place to sit and knit.....I hear those needles clicking!
Very Nice ! and to think you have 12 months of the year to enjoy it...Our gardens take such a beating all winter. We do have a Prickly Pear cactus in our rock garden, it always amazes me how it springs back up in the summer and produces wonderful blooms,
We are leaving for the southwest on Sat. for 5 months. Finally !
Your patio, with all those lovely plants, is just delightful. My dogs destroy everything and I am going to have to start taking some preventative measures!!
