Did anybody get a chance to see the full moon the other night? It came up here bright and orange as a Necco wafer. No clouds to cover it. Gorgeous.

WE LEFT THE RAT RACE EIGHT YEARS AGO AND RETIRED TO THIS LITTLE ISLAND IN THE CARIBBEAN. THIS IS MY ACCOUNT OF THE TRIALS, TRIBULATIONS, AND LITTLE JOYS OF LIVING IN MEXICO.

BEAUTIFUL .... the moon is amazing over the water!
Beautiful! I love the moon AND stars on Isla! Ahhhhhhhh.
Amigo - I like this moon shot much better than the chiva's moon shots in the previous entry ;-)
Sure I saw the same moon driving to and from Colorado - and yes it was lovely.
Peace,
Juan
Beautiful! The same moon rose over Vineyard Sound the other night. How many of your readers know NECCO wafers - made in my old 'hood in Cambridge MA. "Island Nana"
Judy--I was thinking the same thing about Necco wafers--that's a reminder of my childhood--used to go to Fanueil Hall ( Haymarket) ( when it still was pushcarts & butchers) and driving there we'd go by NE Confectionery Co. (NECCO) & I swear you could smell the sweets!
kw and beck: it was as bright and orange as the harvest moon back in Minnesota. Still was last night.
Calypso: As you know, this is not the type of blog that generally features moon shots like yesterday. When will you be home? Seems like you have been gone a long, long time.
anon(Judy!) and Jamqueen: thanks for the lesson on NECCO wafers. I never knew that NECCO actually stood for something. I was addicted to them for years. It was the one candy I could eat while talking on the phone at work. Except the black ones. They got tossed into the rubbish. Nobody else would eat them either.
Oh I wish I were on Isla!
We were admiring that moon the other night. It was so clear and the moon was so bright up there. Great pic!
