I have added a survey over to the left. I am concerned that this blog is becoming too photo heavy. Please take a second to register your opinion. Thanks!

I've got no issues with photo-heavy blogs, in fact, I think people are scared off by blogs that have huge blocks of text with no photos to break them up.
I admit that on my own blog, when I've been doing post after post of simple posts with lots of photos and just commentary on those photos, I feel lazy. When I'm not feeling creative or have writer's block, however, photo-blogs are a great way to give your audience something, anything...to tide them over.
Sometimes I do wish for more text heavy posts from you, since I always value your opinion and the interesting things you have to say.
As many as it takes to tell the story is my thought. Sometimes one will do it, sometimes you need many more. Normally I try to keep it somewhere between 4-10, but it's not a firm fast rule for me.
I personally love seeing your pics and don't think it's a photo heavy blog at all. It's perfect. :)
I originally said "6-10 photos", then, wimpily, changed to "as many as is necessary.
In reality, I love your photos .... shoot yer butt off ... they all are well done, are of interest, and, more often then not, are of a place I can't wait to get back to..
I think if there are a lot of photos, then make it have less posts log on the first page. If you have many photos that don't go together maybe they need to be separate posts, but to be honest, I have never had any issues with your photos and the way you do them. so I think it's moot. regards, Theresa
I think your blog is great the way it is. I love all your photos and really enjoy them. I know the drag queen entry had lots of pictures but I thought it was hilarious and very entertaining.
Please include as many photos as you like - I will be here every day to enjoy!
Gee, thanks everybody! I try not to post a picture just because I have taken it. If it doesn't contribute to the story then it remains on my computer alone. Or simply gets deleted. Often I will take more than one photo of the same thing but from different angles, etc. The one I like best gets published. I must say though, I do like photo blogs myself...but only if each picture has a caption and is part of the story. I hate blogs where people just unload their camera to blogger and that's it. I promise to never do that.

It's your blog Wayne....you should post what you like.
That includes telling me I'm hot and sexy.
Seriously....keep the pics coming.

You can probably guess how I voted. :-)
Wayne -- The mix you have found is good. But I always look forward to seeing more of your rare people photographs.
I agree with everyone--how ever many it takes to tell the story--you never can have too many photos!
I LOVE YOUR PHOTOS .. keep them coming!! You are my morning wake up.
Me too as to as many as it takes to tell a story
