A few things that caught my eye on Bench Street, the main street through Taylors Falls, Mn.
Ok, it's not on the main street, but this is in the area. I love this round barn.

WE LEFT THE RAT RACE EIGHT YEARS AGO AND RETIRED TO THIS LITTLE ISLAND IN THE CARIBBEAN. THIS IS MY ACCOUNT OF THE TRIALS, TRIBULATIONS, AND LITTLE JOYS OF LIVING IN MEXICO.

The round barn always reminds me of a silly joke my grandfather would tell every time we passed one. "Did you hear about the fella who walked himself to death in his round barn? He couldn't find a corner to pee in." And I love the people with the canoe. Their clothes all match. Maybe they're Scout leaders!
LOVE the barn!
I am with Beck and Babs: round barns are KEWL. We do not see them very often in Oregon, but there is a huge one in southeatern Oregon -- a heritage sight, I believe.
I don't think I've ever seen a round barn. Must of missed those that 6 weeks we spent in MN.
Oh! Mums! sigh. not for us tropicals.
Those flower balls on light posts seem to be big in cold areas. Maybe they grow faster in the long days of summer and don't have time to get ratty looking?
Love the flowers. And you definitely don't see those kinds of bikes on Isla!
My breath actually caught in my throat at the pics of the bikes! I used to ride to Taylors Falls. What a beautiful drive from the cities!
