Why Do People Do This?
Last Sunday evening we decided to take a walk along the new Malecon. We parked in the municipal lot, next to Hotel Frances Arlene. As we were walking to the Malecon, L pointed this out to me:

I have the same quiestion about expensive sneakers hung over telephopne wires. Every month Isee a new pair. Like some trendy photo shoot for the next Puma ad. Of course, they get there because some high school "friend" thinks it is a great practical joke to throw away money. Mayge the same kids migrate south for the season.

Mmhhh...strange. I only know this with shoes tied together...but I even don´t know why they throw the shoes over telephone and other lines...maybe a new "trend sport" we all missed? ;-)
