WE LEFT THE RAT RACE EIGHT YEARS AGO AND RETIRED TO THIS LITTLE ISLAND IN THE CARIBBEAN. THIS IS MY ACCOUNT OF THE TRIALS, TRIBULATIONS, AND LITTLE JOYS OF LIVING IN MEXICO.

Although I tend to take a lot of photos of the beach, water and boats I do try to get some shots of the beautiful flowers and trees on the island.
There was a women staying at the cottages in Sanibel who asked me if I thought that she was nuts taking pictures of the flowers. I told her no, that I had already taken a bunch of the different flowers and plants on the property. Nuts? I take photos of my meals when I travel
Or just stop, stand, and look. There is a marvelous world out there. Thank you, Wayne, for sharing one view of it.
Great photo! Love the contrast in the colors.
Wayne,
I love your blog. I think your pictures are great and I also like to hear what you have to say. Someday (our construction will be finished "next Wednesday" or maybe next month...) I will be living near you. I feel like I'm keeping up with a friend in my adopted "hood" when I check in with your blog. I always shout the same phrase: "Honey, come and read what Wayne posted today!"
So, thanks.
Hope you have a calm and peaceful Tuesday.

Wayne....did I inspire you honey?
I agree. I've taken many photos of Isla flowers...and even planted a Hibiscus in a pot in my front yard to remind me of it.
Some of your photos make my jaw drop! You certainly are an artistic little devil! Besos!
