Is that fountain filled with absynth?? Pass me a straw! Whoo hoo! Race you to the bottom!
How wonderfully refreshing that water must be when it blows across pedestrians in the zocalo! YUCK!
Island Nana

the zocalo has been torn up, destroyed , renovated , remodeled a minimum of 3x in the last 15 years. believe me it was perfectly fine originally.

Ya gotta love the promises of "A New World" .... (I think that was was one of the pitches of the winner this time)
Hey, my comment didn't show up!
Where did they get that fancy green water? That must be imported.
THAT is sad. It was such a beautiful place. Saturday nights, vendors, families, basketball games, churos... You can't tell me that that does not smell.

Wayne -- How did you get a photograph of my hot tub?
Looks like it is filled with green Jell-O ;-)
I just recently from a friend who lives on Isla that it cost $2m to build that fountain. It is sad because that money could have done so much more to improve something that really needed improving. I loved to hang out in the old zocola.
