Seen on Isla - An Updated Picture

Just thought you might like to see how well the wonderful dancing/singing fountain in the town square is being maintained.

the zocalo has been torn up, destroyed , renovated , remodeled a minimum of 3x in the last 15 years. believe me it was perfectly fine originally.

THAT is sad. It was such a beautiful place. Saturday nights, vendors, families, basketball games, churos... You can't tell me that that does not smell.

I just recently from a friend who lives on Isla that it cost $2m to build that fountain. It is sad because that money could have done so much more to improve something that really needed improving. I loved to hang out in the old zocola.
