Reader Shots

This past weekend I received these pictures from one of my readers. Not just any reader though. One that is near and dear to my heart.....my sister-in-law! These are some of the shots she took while visiting last May. Sorry G, but I had to censure one of the them. The consensus here was that I should not post a picture showing the boobs of someone we know, no matter how tempting it is to do so! So, readers, I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. (her title in italics, mine in normal type)

Beckoning Night Lights

Fire Boy. A popular subject here!

At the ruins. These aren't actually ruins. This is part of a wall built near south point.

Kids on the town. This is a family from Chiapas that sells bracelets, etc.

From the well. Taken inside the Mundaca pirate estate. The one where they locked us in!

Pottery Garden. I love the title of this one!

Finally, does anyone recognize this place? LOL!

Have I mentioned how much I love the colors of your cottage? The yellow is really close to the one in our condo - I think you noticed that - and they are both on my list for the new house in Merida.

Jonna, the colors are from Comex. The bottom is hacienda rojo and the top is villa amarillo. We bought a cubeta of the yellow and mixed a gallon of the red into it to tone it down.

Wow, I absolutely LOVED the pottery garden! Fantastic photo. I'm using it as my wallpaper :)

I knew you lived somewhere in La Gloria, but the picture of your casa told me "tu es mi Vecino!!"

Our casa is just a few away from yours, it is mucho amarillo y azul, on the corner next door to the borracho tienda. (Don't ya love my spanglish?)

We'll be down the last week in April. If you see us out under the palapa stop by for coffee if your a morning person, or a cervesa later in the day if your not. :)
