Yippee!

Got an unexpected phone call today from one of the friends we left behind when we moved down here.

He has recently been travelling the Mississippi from its' source to New Orleans....in a kayak! However, he reports that he was forced off the river and could go no further this year due to ice over. Too bad for him but good for us!

He is coming down to visit just before Christmas and we couldn't be more excited!
