Changes seem to be everywhere at the moment. In my life. On the island. To this blog. Believe it or not, I have stopped playing Farmville (or am on my way out of it!) and I plan to devote the time that that hogged out of my life back to my blog.
I thought for awhile that I would just give up on this thing. Things were going on in my life, with friends and family and the island itself, that were upsetting to me and it was being reflected here. Although some of those things have not yet been resolved, I found that I really miss posting and talking here. And sharing with all of you.
I spent most of the summer in my home state of Michigan, visiting family and, especially, with my baby brother and his family. It was a good summer and I made many memories that I will carry forward with me. I have been back on the island for a month now and I truly thought I would be here for awhile. Alas, God and Fate have intervened and I must hurry back to Michigan now.
I can't promise to go back to my former schedule of posting just yet, but I am working on it. You will probably see more posts from Michigan before I really start up on island life again. So bear with me....or not.
Amidst all of these changes, one thing still remains consistent........

Tourists still continue to parade all over town in nothing more than colorful underwear. To each his own, but I still find it terribly cultural stupid.
