Work on the new church here in the neighborhood La Gloria continues. I think this is going to be another Catholic (surprise!) church to serve the inner island neighborhoods.

Where is that?? Was it under way when I was there a couple of weeks ago? It must have been, but I don't recall seeing it.
And that explains what the sign this summer in the zocalo was about. I wondered if they were going to remodel the church on the square.
Kelly: turn right at Fatso's house and go up the hill towards Mundaca. It is in that big vacant lot surrounded by the scalloped fence. The one I wanted to buy to build a mini-golf course on.
WOW- that seems so big. I fotget how small everything in Tulum is. It looks like it will be pretty though.
That looks like a big Church! I read yesterdays blog and I won't usually travel alone. I am actually thinking of going over 800 miles on my own to go back home to see family and I hate the thought of it! Maybe I will change my mind!
