Groom: Will you marry me?
Bride: Yes! But the ceremony and honeymoon have to be on Isla Mujeres!
Groom: No way! Every time we go there on vacation you get drunk and do something silly!
Bride: Don't be ridiculous. I'm not going to do anything stupid on our wedding night!
You be the Judge.

That's it? I thought that at least there would be some clothes coming off.
It appears her mission might have been interruptus.
I bet the hem on that wedding dress got pretty dirty on Hidalgo! (I always think in practical terms.) Pretty proud of that butt!
Ah. Another lovely shot for the wedding album.
hmmmm, now that is some honeymoon beginnings!
I'd say she kept her word!
Jackie: I'm pretty sure that happened later.
IslaZina: not sure what her mission was!
LAB: I saw her again later that night and it wasn't too bad. I know what you mean though. I have seen some wedding dresses that will never see white again!
Steve: If they like that one, I have more!
lisa: I think that was still the reception!
KfromMichigan: Ok, it is pretty clear to me that if you think she didn't do anything stupid, I am going to have to keep my eye on you when you are here!
NOTE: I heard from various people about town that this bride was actually one of the nicest ones to visit the island in a long time. I heard nothing but praise about her and her whole wedding party. So I am cutting her a little slack for dancing on the bar like a common skank.
Pretty tame in my playbook. Nothing to look back on in shame.
I disagree with you. Escaping to Isla for your wedding sounds fun and romantic to me, especially knowing what I do about wedding stress! Wedding plans cause divorces, you know! Eloping with your wedding party and the dress seems like a welcome relief to the religious and family politics of following Bride Magazine protocol. Drinking at your wedding....well, I guess you have never been to a POLISH wedding? Loosen up, you guys! What happened to live and let live?
That's not that bad. I was actually expecting something a little bit worst. This is actually something the bride and groom can laugh about a year o 2 from now.
I absolutely agree with Linda Dorton's comment! I wish I had an invite to that wedding - it looked like lots of fun to me. I'd say the action was rather "mild", not "wild" or "skanky" (what a horrible word that one is!) And, obviously, you've never been to an Italian wedding either!
I agree with the folks who say "lighten up". It's her wedding the bride can do no wrong on that day (other than get married in the first place). Live and let live...and laugh at the uninhibited joy!!
I love it! I'm surprised that is not myself I see up there. We had a tequila tasting bar at our wedding on North Beach...which turned into a tequila shot bar real quick!
