Walk On A Wild Day

When I looked over at the ocean last Saturday, I couldn't believe my eyes. The surface of the ocean was smooth as glass and I could see every rock under the water. It was amazing. I have never seen the water that clear before. Skip to Sunday.

This is what I saw when I looked, just 24 hours later.

I took a walk over there Monday afternoon to get some closer pics. We can thank the cool weather and the upset ocean that we are having on two things: trailings from Hurricane Rick over in the Pacific and the last norte that has blown in.

I don't know if this a collection somebody was going to pick up later or maybe something a little more Satanic.

As usual, because of the rock barrier we have, the waves broke out from shore.

The beach across from house is not all that good for shelling. Sure, there a few little ones to be found, but mostly it is this. Rocks and petrified conch shells.

As I turned to leave the beach, the oncoming sunset caught my eye. It was reflected behind my house and that of my neighbors.

Believe it or not, these pictures were all taken in color. It was just that overcast out Monday afternoon.

Love the last photo. Looks like something out of a movie.

Awwwww... for obvious reasons, I love that last shot! Look how cute that little casa is :)

And glad to see some waves coming in! Waves bring shells if you know where to look! If you see any tourists across the street this week, kindly advise them it is a private beach and they are not allowed to gather shells there. They are MINE! :)
