Local Kids: Stay Away!

We decided to head down to Sergio's Playa Sol the other night to watch the sunset. I parked a bit away and we walked along the beach to get there.

Right next door to Sergio's is a dock where boats full of tourists tie up for an all day, all inclusive adventure on Isla Mujeres. This is where some of the golf cart convoys come from. At any rate, this sign from the company that runs the tours, Islander, caught my eye.

And what is it they are protecting for the enjoyment of only the kids on the tour? This valuable piece of equipment.

Now I ask you. What is it going to hurt if all children on the beach are allowed to play on it?

Sad. What would it hurt! And I bet more signs are on the way at Aluxes next door. By the way,is there still a road to walk down, or do you have to walk at the water's edge to get to Sergio's?
