It should be an interesting four years. She is a member of the PAN party. The Governor of our State, Quintana Roo, and the controlling party, is PRI. It's like having a Democratic president and a Republican House. I can hardly wait for the fun to begin. Not sure what date she actually gets sworn in though. I hope she continues on with the programs our current Mayor started. And maybe adds a few of her own. If she can shake loose some funding for them.

I heard that she ran for president 6 years ago but lost to Paulino. She takes office on April 10th.
