Another trip to Cancun, Another blog to read

Yesterday we had to get out of the house again. Cleaning day. We decided to grab our friend, Carlos, and head over to Cancun to do some shopping and just generally waste some time. This was my third trip over there since Saturday. Gotta cut back a little on that!

We had a great but exhausting day. We went to the Restaurant California near CostCo for the all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet. After that, we walked over to CostCo. I had bought some cargo shorts there on Saturday. I don't know what I was thinking. Size 34 was way too big for me. I wanted to just exchange them but they will only give you your money back. So of course there were no shorts left in my correct size so I will just have to do without.

From there we grabbed a taxi over to Plaza Gran Cancun. Carlos bought some black pants and a book, B bought two new pairs of flip-flops, which he really needed and it is hard to find his size in Mexico. I bought a Christmas present to put away and then I treated myself to an early birthday present. I bought The Eagles new CD. Did you know that you can only get it at WalMart? They hold the exclusive rights to selling it! I haven't listened to it yet but will shortly.

Oh, I also want to give a plug for one of the blogs in my sidebar. Count down to Mexico. If you haven't read it yet, you should. I have been to Mazatlan twice now. I swear, if I didn't already have a house and home here on Isla, I would be beating a path to Mazatlan. Nancy makes living there sound that good! It is easy to see how happy they are there. It shines through her posts. I really enjoyed reading all of her archives. There journey to get to Mexico so mimiced mine. Except I knew where I was going to end up from the start. Go give her a visit but don't forget to come back here tomorrow!

Aw, shucks! You are too nice!

We ARE loving it here...my son asked me last night what we are going to do for our upcoming wedding anniversary, and I told him that I can't imagine any present that could beat just living here every day!

(Although we still will go out to dinner, ha ha)
