They are all made of recycable materials and yet will NEVER be recycled?

My thinking cap is on but not working. All I know is that a friend of mine went down on vacation to mexico and ended up very sick and had to go to the hospital when she got back state side. Will be a waiting for the answer. I have been always told to never drink the water.

teresa: OSHA stands for Occupational Safety and Health Administration. They set the standards for what is safe conduct in many areas. Jeff is not doing to well. Thanks for asking.
crl/debbie: you put some thought into that answer. But still not what i am after. Think OSHA.
lisa: you are right. We do not drink the water here. Purified water is sold in those containers you see in the first picture. And, for the record, every time I visit the USA now, I get sick. Different germs than what my body is now used to. Same thing for visitors coming to Mexico.
jackie: although they should all be recycled, they are not. Keep thinking.
LAB: leave it to you to give me a good laugh! I hope I don't drink fabric softener! Or water out of a cleaning bucket!
Well everything in Mexico goes back into the water eventually..including the recycling plants dumping their waste which seeps into the water..So my guess is THE WATER! But it may not be the answer you are looking for as ALL of them have some plastic in them!

Water bucket upside down on large water jug. Coffee can upside down on bucket = ladder to reach window which is being washed from small water bottle containing highly potent acidic vanish with very little water. (?) My guess

ReplyDeleteDamn! I didn't know I had to be specific in the purpose....I am thinking Chavo beat me to the punch. Used to carry fuel from the Pemex station to wherever the scooter or car has run out of gas!

Down here all those (except the garrafon) would be used as shovels. Seriously. 2L Coke bottle are used as shovels. any plastic container was used either for making cement or as a shovel (depending on the size) But since the garrafon has such a high price ($50 deposit) I have never seen it used for anything but water. Not always clean water, but hey.
