Market Vegetables
I would give almost anything to have daily access to such an assortment of quality vegetables.
Alas, this market is not here on the island. It is the downtown market in Huatulco, Oaxaca.
So would I! Those are great looking veggies....Except in the summer when you can get locally grown stuff, our produce comes from so far away! I thought this year there was a better selection of produce at the Super Express than in past years....
Beautiful photos!! Luckily, we do have great produce inPlaya. I feel bad for all my island friends Isla and Ambergris) who have a limited and $$$ selection.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos! After yesterday's flooding post,I thought this might be pics of veggies from the Isla mercado floating down the street!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos! I'll share on Twitter!
ReplyDeleteOh, and here I thought they were more photos from your recent visit to Merida. Looks like our big mercado offerings.

ReplyDeleteWayne,
ReplyDeleteCome to Merida.
Bring your camera.
Go to our market.
You will shoot 100's of incredible, almost edible, fotos!
God, I would KILL for a tomatoe that lookes like that!
ReplyDeleteI thought "geesh, the market on Isla never has that much produce when I go there." Then I got to the end.
